About the Role:
Deep Healthcare Services Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals and assist patients in their daily activities, ensuring a high standard of care. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills, contributing positively to the wellbeing of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming for patients.
  2. Support patients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
  3. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
  4. Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients who require assistance.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols.
  6. Offer emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive atmosphere.
  7. Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
  8. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of experience in a healthcare or care assistant role.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A valid DBS check (if not in place, we can assist with obtaining one).
