Healthcare Support Worker

Deep Healthcare Services Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals and assist patients in their daily activities, ensuring a high standard of care. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills, contributing positively to the wellbeing of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming for patients.
- Support patients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for patients who require assistance.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive atmosphere.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of experience in a healthcare or care assistant role.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A valid DBS check (if not in place, we can assist with obtaining one).
Benefits and Remuneration:
- Competitive hourly rate: £11.09
- No less than 40 hours per week.
