The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $55,000 - $65,000 based on national averages.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions. As a key member of our financial operations department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records for accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining purchase ledger processes, including entering supplier invoices against purchase orders and checking supplier statements.
  • Raising invoice queries with suppliers and following through until resolved.
  • Processing supplier monthly payments, including foreign currency transactions.
  • Verifying goods received against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Managing sales ledger processes, including generating and sending sales invoices and customer statements.
  • Credit control and customer account management.
  • Accurate and timely processing of credit card transactions.
  • Identifying and addressing discrepancies in documentation.
  • Updating databases and spreadsheets related to accounting.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • Proven finance administration experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software, such as Excel.
  • Ability to learn and use new accounting technology and seek out additional duties.
  • Confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
