Job Title:

Children and Young People Senior Support Worker

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Salary: £29,600 - £30,800 per annum, plus sleep-in allowance

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will collaborate with the team to advocate for the positive development of young individuals, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.

As a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker, you will support the Service Manager in ensuring efficient day-to-day management and high-quality care.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in providing therapeutic care, addressing the unique needs of each child.
  • Maintain comprehensive records, including event logs, progress reports, and care plans.
  • Serve as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, addressing their daily needs and fostering trust and growth.

You Will Need:

  • Experience: Minimum of 12 months experience in a child-centred, therapeutic environment.
  • Qualification: Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Driving License: Must hold a full UK driving license.
  • Flexibility: Ability to cover long day shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.
