Job Summary

We are working with a leading local government client to recruit for an Interim Financial Systems Specialist with expertise in ContrOCC and Liquidlogic. This role is critical to support the integration and optimisation of financial processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify and address financial process gaps and technical issues, particularly around transactions not currently processed through Liquidlogic/ContrOCC.
  • Lead the development and implementation of improved financial processes between Liquidlogic and ContrOCC, supporting the overall scheme of financial management.
  • Recommend and test system changes, ensuring smooth transition from development to live implementation, including setting acceptance criteria and managing test plans.
  • Enable key financial reports for forecasting spend and monitoring budget impact.
  • Identify and address training gaps in collaboration with the Business and Digital Services Team.
  • Ensure any issues are promptly logged and resolved, and that changes do not disrupt existing financial imports/exports to systems like BAM Portal and ERP.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, reporting risks, progress, and issues to the Project Manager and Programme Management.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience with ContrOCC and Liquidlogic platforms, with a clear understanding of how financial transactions and placements are processed and recorded.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial management processes and how they integrate across different systems.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and ensure clear reporting of risks and progress.
