Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Recruit Mint is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our process equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on process equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct fault finding and repair of breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with factory safety protocols and work in a safe manner at all times.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Recognised Mechanical apprenticeship (City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
  • Experience of production equipment maintenance in a diverse factory environment.
  • Good diagnostic skills and ability to work independently.
  • Computer literate with experience of stores systems and maintenance management systems.

Working Hours:

You will work a 12-hour shift pattern, with 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts per week, and 6 days off. The company will aim to give at least 2 weeks' notice if a change to the published roster is required.
