Food and Beverage Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at Hilton Dublin Kilmainham. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all bar duties to the highest standards, as outlined in our performance manuals.
  • Create and update guest profiles through our Fidelio system, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Process charges efficiently and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction is achieved.
  • Maximize seating capacity while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Stay informed about competitor information and market changes, suggesting and supporting changes to our services and rates as necessary.
  • Ensure all staff are familiar with safe cash handling, credit policy, and hotel procedures.
  • Assist in compiling and achieving the Conference and F&B budget.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure guest requests are attended to efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date on menu updates, hotel promotions, corporate promotions, and special activities.
  • Organize and assist with guest and staff promotional events as required.
Requirements:
  • A friendly, approachable manner and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and previous relevant experience in a 3-star hotel (desirable but not essential).
  • A hands-on attitude to work and eligibility to work full-time all-year round without restriction.
  • Fluent English language skills and exceptional customer care and problem resolution skills.
