About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Health, Safety, and Environment Advisor to join our team at The Resources Hub. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and the environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective health, safety, and environmental programs and policies.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health, safety, and environmental procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety management systems and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in occupational health and safety, including experience in a remote FIFO environment.
  • Recognized tertiary qualifications in occupational health and safety or a related discipline.
  • Lead Auditor qualifications.
  • Sound understanding of risk management processes, preferably ICAM.
  • Sound understanding of INX modules and application across a mining company.
  • Senior First Aid certificate or equivalent.
  • Current C Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Understanding of mining and minerals processing operations.
  • Knowledge of safety programs and recognized safety management systems.
  • Detailed understanding of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations.
  • Experience in incident investigations, workplace inspections, and audits.
  • Knowledge of induction and safety training programs and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of change management processes.
  • Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to positively influence others.
What We Offer
  • $75-$90 per hour super.
  • FIFO Tuesday to Tuesday.
