We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Specialist to join our CRM and data team at the British Heart Foundation. As a Senior Data Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective data management for the BHF by extracting data for marketing communications, supporting data imports, and collaborating with marketing and technical teams to optimize data quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extracting data for marketing communications and supporting data imports
  • Collaborating with marketing and technical teams to optimize data quality
  • Maintaining data quality through CRM updates using an ETL tool
  • Championing data best practices and identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with fundraising and marketing teams to establish selection criteria for data extracts
  • Ensuring accurate and timely data exchange with suppliers
  • Managing CRM database data and resolving data quality issues
  • Supporting and training members to maintain and enhance the CRM database
  • Tracking team workload and developing efficient data management processes
  • Overseeing imports managed by Data Assistants and gathering feedback to continuously improve processes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience running complex and large database selections in a busy direct marketing environment
  • Strong experience with Blackbaud CRM or similar systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Proven track record in importing and exporting data with external agencies
  • Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
  • Good standard of communication in both written and verbal forms
  • Experience working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver workloads to strict deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload appropriately

Working Arrangements:

Please note that this is a fixed-term contract until May 2026, covering a secondment. The role will be based in our London office, with some flexibility to work from home. We offer a blended contract, where you can expect to spend some time in the office, at least one day each week, on average.
