Role Overview

Ribbons and Reeves Limited is seeking a dedicated Psychology Graduate to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our primary school setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience while making a real difference in young lives.

About the Role

As a Psychology Graduate, you will work closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to create an inclusive learning environment for children with SEN. Your responsibilities will include providing individual or group support, assisting with lesson preparation and classroom management, and helping children build confidence and improve social skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual or group support for children with SEN
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
  • Help children build confidence and improve social skills
  • Observe and track progress, reporting to SEN staff where needed

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Possess a good understanding of SEN
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Show patience, empathy, and resilience when working with children
  • Previous experience with children is desirable but not essential

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
