Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our veterinary practice in Ashington, Northumberland. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive an annual salary up to £29,500 depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer annual leave, CPD allowance, paid professional fees, and more.
Requirements
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
