Pertemps Scotland is partnering with a public sector client to recruit Housing Assistants for temporary ongoing positions in the Edinburgh area, specifically in Craigmillar (North East Locality).

The rate of pay is £13.48 per hour, and hours are Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.

This role involves providing administrative support to the clients' busy housing department. Experience working within a housing or homeless service environment is desirable, along with a full UK driving license.

The department primarily deals with temporary accommodation, revenue collection, contacting clients, gathering proof of income, and providing business support through various formats.

Key responsibilities include handling sensitive information, dealing with customer issues, and performing general administrative tasks such as mail management.

Applicants must possess knowledge of IT systems, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in difficult situations.

A basic disclosure will be required at a cost of £25.
