About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Programme Project Lead to join our team at Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. As a key member of our Kentown Care Team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day development and management of the Kentown Children's Palliative Care Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the Kentown Programme strategy, working closely with the Director of Care and other stakeholders.
  • Manage the Kentown Family Support Team, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality family support service.
  • Lead the project and raise awareness of the programme and of children's palliative care, working in partnership with health, education, and social care professionals.
  • Contribute to service development across the wider organisation, providing management and leadership to the team in relation to all safeguarding issues.
  • Develop, monitor, and deliver service outcomes, building and maintaining successful professional partnerships to ensure the service is accessible to relevant families.
Requirements
  • Experience in child health, education, or social care, with a commitment to working in partnership with children, young people, and their families.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to lead a project of scale and importance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a changing environment, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong networking skills and confident use of MS Office.
