About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Programme Project Lead to join our team at Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. As a Programme Project Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day development and management of the Kentown Children's Palliative Care Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the Kentown Children's Palliative Care Programme strategy
  • Manage the Kentown Family Support Team and ensure the delivery of a high-quality family support service
  • Work in partnership with health, education, and social care professionals to lead the project and raise awareness of the programme and children's palliative care
  • Contribute to service development across the wider organisation and provide management and leadership to the team in relation to all safeguarding issues
  • Develop, monitor, and deliver service outcomes and build and maintain successful professional partnerships to ensure the service is accessible to relevant families
Requirements
  • Experience in child health, education, or social care, with a commitment to working in partnership with children, young people, and their families
  • Experience as a project manager, with a strong understanding of effective partnership working to successfully lead a project of scale and importance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including families, referrers, partners, and other statutory, private, and voluntary agencies
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and control tasks from conception to completion
  • Strong networking skills and confident use of MS Office
