Lancaster Medical School is seeking to appoint a dynamic, proactive and motivated Student Programme Officer. You will lead and line manage our developing and hardworking professional service team who are responsible for the administration of the undergraduate medical programme for Lancaster Medical School.

You will need to be able to prioritise your workload and work under pressure whilst developing and maintaining mutually beneficial working relationships with the programme team, internal and external stakeholders including our partner NHS trust. Excellent administrative and organisational skills and experience of using computer packages at an advanced level are essential, as is the ability to line manage and lead a high functioning team. Ideally you will have previous administrative and line management experience of working in a high-stakes environment of higher education or NHS.

Excellent interpersonal, motivational and interpersonal skills alongside a desire to lead a team are essential. You will need to build, maintain and develop strong working relationships with our student placement providers. A proven team player and confident communicator, you will be committed to integrating into a busy office environment, working closely with a wide range of colleagues, calm under pressure with an eye for detail and accuracy.
