The Good Care Group Ltd is currently seeking a skilled Care Companion to join our team in Devon. As a live-in carer, you will provide companionship and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and building meaningful relationships.
We require a minimum of 6 months' professional care experience in any care setting, including residential or domiciliary care. As a Care Companion, you will be responsible for providing a daily average of 6-12 hours care provision to your client, including managing medical conditions such as dementia, stroke, and Parkinson's. You will also assist with personal care and help with daily activities. A driver's license is an advantage but not required, as the client provides the car and insurance for occasional trips out or to go shopping.
A competitive salary is offered, with pay based on your care experience, pension, and bank holiday enhancements. We also cover all UK travel expenses, providing flexibility and convenience for you. With ongoing training and development, including a level 2 diploma in working in care services and a level 3 award in awareness of dementia, you will have the tools to excel in this rewarding role.
