Job Description

The Senior Nurse Specialist will provide clinical oversight and guidance to the multidisciplinary team on shift, utilizing complex clinical skills such as tracheostomy care and ventilator care. They will attend all training and engage in continuing professional development to further their clinical knowledge and promote excellence in nursing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the MDT on shift
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills in areas such as tracheostomy care and ventilator management
  • Engage in ongoing learning and professional development to enhance clinical expertise
  • Assist with performance management of junior staff, adhering to organizational policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC pin and have experience in complex care. You will also require excellent leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
