Job Title: Senior Structural Designer

Purpose:

The Senior Structural Designer will play a key role in the execution of our projects, working closely with other disciplines to deliver high-quality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with other disciplines to ensure effective project execution.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain technical skills in Microsoft packages and required software packages.
  • Communicate effectively with onshore and offshore personnel at all levels.
  • Comply with relevant codes of conduct and industry standards.
  • Provide Discipline Design Support to satisfy the appropriate Asset Safety Case and PFEER performance standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with current and new legislation and standards.
  • Operate and act responsibly, taking into account the need to progress environmental, social and economic outcomes simultaneously.
  • Supervise other discipline designers and ensure delivery of design documentation within budget and schedule.
  • Prepare design scope for man-hours and equipment estimate.
  • Assist with resolving technical queries and ensure design changes are captured by the change control process.
  • Conduct site surveys and produce design deliverables required for the role.
