About the Role

Avery Healthcare Group Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Clinical Unit Manager. As a key member of our care home management team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Your primary focus will be to support the care home management team in creating a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This will involve leading a team of nurses, senior carers, and carers to provide staff support, enhancing and promoting the resident's quality of life through effective care planning, and managing and participating in the rota to ensure that senior care and care support are always available.

Other responsibilities will include supporting the Deputy Manager and Clinical Managers in managing the medication systems and ordering and distributing prescribed medication to residents.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate will have an active NMC PIN, NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, at least two years' experience of working within a care home environment, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
