About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our dedicated team at Ivetsey Bank Hospital, a Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) facility in Staffordshire. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing evidence-based individual and group treatment programmes to address or reduce the negative impact of difficulties in children and young people with severe, enduring, and complex mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and clinical formulations of patients' problem behaviours and treatment needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based individual and group treatment programmes
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment programmes
  • Direct and support others to carry out evidence-based clinical psychology interventions
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of patients, and protect their human rights
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Clinical Psychologist
  • BPS membership
  • Previous experience within a CAMHS setting
  • Enhanced DBS clearance

We have our own Ofsted-registered school on site, allowing young people to continue their education while receiving treatment. Our hospital has three separate units, each supported by a dedicated Consultant-led Multi-Disciplinary Team.
