Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Administrator to join our Community Paediatrics team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our team, including answering phone calls, audio typing clinic letters, and booking appointments.
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Process referrals, and use IT systems to manage our services.
  • Deal with general enquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
Main Duties
  • Provide confidential administration support, including minute taking, organizing meetings, and maintaining databases.
  • Maintain an effective office support system, including electronic filing, photocopying, and reception duties.
  • Provide clinic support to medical and nursing staff, ensuring infection control measures are completed.
  • Collate and analyze data to inform service development and improvement.
  • Identify and minimize risks within our organizational risk frameworks.

Person Specification
  • NVQ Level 3 Business Administration, or equivalent level of secretarial qualification.
  • Previous secretarial experience within a medical environment.
Experience
  • Relevant secretarial experience as a Team Secretary or Medical Secretary.
  • Previous NHS experience within a community setting.
  • Customer Service training.
