Children and Young People Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Domestic and Sexual Abuse Team as a Children's Domestic Abuse Group Coordinator.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people affected by domestic abuse.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordinate and deliver group work programs for children and young people aged 5-18 years affected by domestic abuse.
- Develop and review programs designed to support children and young people using best practice and therapeutic principles and theories.
- Establish positive, proactive, and innovative working relationships with services providing training and advice on the safeguarding of children and young people.
- Manage referrals, conduct risk assessments, and record case notes of children and young people affected by domestic abuse.
- Provide group sessions face-to-face to children and young people affected by domestic abuse.
- Substantial experience of working with a broad range of diversity issues including barriers to accessing services.
- Proven working experience of delivering a support service to children and young people and an interest in co-ordinating the delivery of groups to achieve better outcomes.
- Dedicated to ending domestic abuse and keeping families safe.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
