Salaried General Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salaried General Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Saddleworth Medical Practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing a busy and varied caseload, and contributing to the development of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake a range of clinical duties, including rapid assessment, telephone and video consultations, and face-to-face consultations.
- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems.
- Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
- Collect data for audit purposes and contribute to the effectiveness of the team.
- Prescribe in accordance with locally agreed or national guidelines.

Saddleworth Medical Practice is a well-established and forward-thinking practice, serving a population of 14,000 in a semi-rural location. We have a strong team of healthcare professionals, including 4 Partners, 2 Salaried GPs, 2 Pharmacists, and 5 Practice Nurses.

Requirements
- Current registration with the GMC and appropriate representation with a recognised medical defence organisation.
- Current CRB check (undertaken less than 6 months before the date of appointment).
- A good knowledge of and interest in general practice and primary care.
- Initiative, creativity, and motivation.
- A collegial team spirit and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
