We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salaried General Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Saddleworth Medical Practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing a busy and varied caseload, and contributing to the development of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a range of clinical duties, including rapid assessment, telephone and video consultations, face-to-face consultations, and emergencies and queries.
- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation.
- Record clear and contemporaneous based consultation notes to agreed standards.
- Collect data for audit purposes.
- Compile and issue computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
- Prescribe in accordance with locally agreed or national guidelines.
Saddleworth Medical Practice is a well-established and forward-thinking practice, serving a population of 14,000 in a semi-rural location. We have a strong team of healthcare professionals, including 4 partners, 2 salaried GPs, 2 pharmacists, 2 community matrons, 5 practice nurses, 2 HCAs, and 20 admin support staff.
