Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Integral UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building services, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance (RM).

Main Responsibilities

  • To implement the building services, PPM programme and RM in accordance with the building operating manuals and in compliance with the contract service levels.
  • To support other team members and their tasks, ensuring they are programmed and carried out effectively.
  • To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed by the site service engineer's and Contract Delivery Manager, including fault finding, testing, repairing, and preventative maintenance of equipment, systems, and services.
  • To close/update completed PPM tasks on the CAFM system.
  • To ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures, and working arrangements.
  • To ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and adhered to for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices.
  • To ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.
  • To follow the appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.
  • To support the static and mobile Site Services Officers/Engineers.
  • To have a flexible approach to working times to suit the client and business requirements.
  • To respond to emergency situations in both normal and out-of-hours working times.
  • To support the organising and direction of subcontractor labour as necessary.
  • To conduct asset collections and condition surveys to assist the site service engineer's and Contract Delivery Manager.
  • To maintain Health and Safety records and ensure good practice.
  • To perform other duties as requested by the site service engineer's and Contract Delivery Manager to ensure smooth running of the contracts within the region.
  • To ensure Company and Site Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times.
  • To maintain accurate site records/documentation in association with all site works.
  • To inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with callouts/repairs as required and requested by management.
  • To attend site emergencies and callouts, outside of normal working hours.

Requirements

  • Current Full UK driving licence.
  • A good awareness of Health and Safety working practices.
  • Understanding of basic joinery, general DIY, and basic plumbing.
