Job Opportunity for SEN Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a thriving and aspirational SEND school in Leicester, seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term period. The ideal candidate will be kind, caring, and experienced in working with children with Special Educational Needs.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for the right person to secure a permanent position. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

Key Responsibilities:
  • NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Education
  • Previous experience working as a learning support assistant
  • Experience working on a 1 to 1 basis with Special Educational Needs
  • Enthusiasm about making a positive difference
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Patience and compassion
