About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at ABC Teachers. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to support learning in primary schools, working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a high-quality education for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in lesson planning and delivery, providing support to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms, intervention groups, and one-to-one sessions.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and other school staff, promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of educational programs and resources, working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to meet the needs of students.
  • Provide administrative support to teachers and other school staff, as required.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a school environment, preferably in a teaching assistant role.
  • Passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and other school staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of students and the school.
  • DBS clearance and the ability to secure professional references.
