We are offering a challenging and rewarding role as a Land Development Surveyor at Harron Homes. This position involves working on various projects across Yorkshire and the North Midlands.

As a key member of our technical team, you will conduct topographical surveys, record as-built information, site surveys, and constraints reviews. You will also collaborate with engineering professionals to provide accurate survey information for project planning and design phases.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting surveys using total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
  • Establishing and verifying control points for accuracy in survey measurements.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting survey data on terrain, boundaries, structures, trees, utilities, and other relevant information.
  • Preparing detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings using CAD software.
  • Completing topographical surveys and formatting drawings according to agreed layering systems and plotting styles.
  • Producing earthwork 3D models and isopachyte drawings showing cut/fill extent and associated parameters.
  • Completing as-built overlays and providing report comparisons against original designs.
  • Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
  • Collaborating with engineering professionals to provide accurate survey information for project planning and design phases.
  • Monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulations.

What We're Looking For:

  • At least 4 years of experience in land surveying or engineering.
  • CSCS certification required.
  • Diploma or degree qualification in land surveying or engineering.
  • Solid background as a land surveyor or setting out engineer.
