Job Description:

Harron Homes is a leading Private Limited Company in the UK, renowned for building premium residential properties in the private sector. We are seeking an experienced Construction Engineering Surveyor to join our team.

This role involves completing topographical surveys, recording as-built information, and undertaking earthwork models and cut and fill analysis. You will also be responsible for checking/undertaking setting out for new foundations, brickwork, retaining walls, drainage, roads, and fence lines. With multiple projects across the region, you will work closely with site teams and other professionals to ensure accuracy and quality.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience, hold a Diploma/Degree qualification, and possess solid background as a Land Surveyor/Engineering Surveyor/Setting out engineer. Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software, such as total stations, GPS receivers, and CAD programs, is essential. Self-motivated and able to work independently, you will also possess strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveys using various surveying instruments
  • Establish and verify control points
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret survey data
  • Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings
  • Complete topographical surveys and format drawings
  • Produce earthwork 3D models and isopachyte drawings
  • Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy
  • Collaborate with other engineering professionals
  • Monitor construction activities
  • Conduct as-built surveys
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance
  • Stay updated with advancements in surveying technology and industry best practices

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits package including company car or allowance, annual bonus, life assurance, and company pension.
