About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Goodwins Hall Care Home. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the reception area presents a friendly, welcoming, and professional image at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all front desk activities, including answering incoming calls, providing information to callers, and redirecting calls or taking accurate messages.
  • Assist the Home Admin Manager with payroll tasks, such as setting up new starters, recording absence and annual leave, and processing leavers.
  • Support the Home Admin Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with enquiry handling, preparing and sending out brochures, and responding to and sending emails.
Requirements
  • Previous administrative experience is desirable, as is knowledge of finance and/or HR procedures. Training will be provided for the successful candidate.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and IT skills, ideally Microsoft Office, together with an eye for detail.
  • Confidence in handling personal and sensitive data, ensuring it is maintained in a confidential manner at all times.
  • Organized, numerate, and accurate, with a 'can-do' attitude.
