About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Applewood, a small residential home for adults with various disabilities, including learning disabilities, autism, and sight loss.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing daily care and support to our residents, helping them to live their best lives. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks, as well as building relationships with our residents and empowering them to achieve their goals.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, and who has a calm, caring, and resilient nature. If you have a manual UK driving license and are comfortable driving alternative vehicles, we would love to hear from you.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Providing daily care and support to our residents, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication
  • Building relationships with our residents and understanding their needs and goals
  • Empowering our residents to achieve their goals and live independently
  • Supporting our residents to engage in activities and hobbies that they enjoy
  • Ensuring that our residents are treated with respect, dignity, and equality
