About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Band 5 Midwife to join our team at Medacs Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide constant monitoring and care to patients, including taking blood and undertaking patient observations.
  • Support emergency admissions, planned admissions, and post-surgery patients and their families, communicating clinical information effectively.
  • Safely identify, prepare, check, and assemble equipment required for patient care.
  • Adhere to the NMC professional Code of Conduct and maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Write care plans, perform assessments, and make referrals as necessary.
  • Organize admissions and discharges to and from the ward, ensuring seamless transitions of care.
Requirements
  • Be a Registered Midwife with at least 6 months post-graduate UK experience.
  • Have 6 months recent relevant UK experience within the last 3 years.
  • Pass an enhanced background check.
