Key Responsibilities- Support the theatre team in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre environment, including the setup and testing of equipment.
- Assist in the positioning of patients in theatre and in the recovery area, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting any concerns to the theatre team.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Experience working in a theatre environment, with a strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Basic IT skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
- GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or above, or equivalent qualifications.
- INCS/NVQ Level 3 in care or similar care qualification, or equivalent.
