New York, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom Baringa Partners LLP Full time

About Baringa Partners LLP:

We strive to build a world-class consulting firm that delivers lasting impact for our clients and fosters a positive, people-first work environment.

Our teams collaborate closely with clients, from high-level strategy definition to detailed implementation. We help clients define their strategy, deliver complex change, identify commercial opportunities, manage risk, and achieve their sustainability goals.

As a Certified B Corporation, we've integrated social and environmental responsibility into every aspect of our business.

We have hubs in Europe, the US, Asia, and Australia, and operate globally – from a wind farm in Wyoming to a boardroom in Berlin. Our global locations include the UK, Germany, Switzerland, America, Australia, and Singapore.

Baringa Partners LLP values partnership and collaboration between Consulting and Baringa Enablement teams. For consultants who frequently work away from home and in different countries, we provide expertise, consistency, and support.

In America, Baringa is growing rapidly, transitioning from a small, entrepreneurial business to a larger, multi-sector organization that requires more consistency and infrastructure.

Job Overview:

This role will provide leadership across all dimensions within the consulting business and Baringa Enablement. The Director of Internal Services will be an essential member of the regional team, working closely with Consulting Partners to support them in setting and executing strategy, providing essential leadership for the local Baringa Enablement team, and serving as an important link to global leadership roles in the UK.

The local team includes Marketing, Legal, HR, Recruitment, Technology, Cyber Security, Consulting, and Business Services. The group has experienced significant growth over the past couple of years and has successfully attracted talented individuals.

  1. Strategic Partnering

  • We are seeking the Director of Internal Services to work closely with and support our Partners as they develop and execute their strategies. This will involve providing high-quality support for leadership meetings, developing shared collateral, maintaining a central view of progress against agreed priorities, developing and sharing management information and insights, and leadership communications.
  • Shaping what future Baringa capabilities need to look like to support the growing business by looking ahead, anticipating, and laying the foundations for future growth.

BE Leadership

  • Providing an essential interface between the local team and leadership roles in the UK to facilitate effective communication and bridge the distance between our locations as we strive to deliver excellent services and capabilities to our business colleagues.
  • Providing structure and leadership across the multi-functional, multi-geography Baringa Enablement team to improve local processes, drive consistency, and deliver a high level of service across all Baringa functions in conjunction with broader UK Baringa teams.
  • Working directly with individual Baringa team members in the region to ensure that business priorities and expectations are understood and being met while cultivating a high-performing Baringa team and providing pastoral support to local Baringa members.
  • Supporting the annual planning process through providing in-depth insight and understanding gained from day-to-day business interactions and specific planning discussions with local leadership.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in management consulting or the professional services sector – ideally in a business management or chief of staff capacity.
  • Excellent management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, and demonstrable collaboration with multiple business areas and stakeholders.

Salary and Benefits:

$220,000-$270,000 base salary dependent on experience. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance at no cost for employee-only coverage; company-paid group term life, short-term disability, long-term disability, and travel insurance; participation in our 401k retirement plan; ability to set aside pre-tax dollars toward commuter benefits, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account, and Dep-care FSA; paid parental leave of 16 weeks for primary caregivers; opportunities to grow your skills and knowledge through a range of learning courses and resources; and five weeks' annual leave, with an additional two-week recharge after five years.

Diversity and Inclusion:

You can be part of our 'Great Place to Work' – with our commitment to women and well-being in the workplace for all.
