About the Role

Dialectica is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Technology team.

As a Data Scientist at Dialectica, you will be responsible for designing and engineering complex proprietary software that automates and optimizes the delivery of our market-leading services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use mathematical and statistical techniques to transform high volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions
  • Develop and deploy data science solutions that drive business impact
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across leadership to improve business outcomes
  • Lead data analysis efforts to navigate diverse datasets, organize, and wrangle large datasets to get actionable insights
  • Partner with engineering teams to develop robust, scalable data science models, tools, and insights

Requirements:

  • MSc/PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a relevant scientific field
  • 4+ years of post-academic data science experience with advanced Python and/or R skills
  • Ability to contribute and lead projects independently while engaging in conversations with relevant business stakeholders
  • Strong skills in algorithms, computational complexity, statistics, and ML/AI techniques
  • Proven experience with projects on Natural Language Processing and Transformer models
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Models and transfer learning
  • Understanding of and experience with advanced analytics concepts (e.g., natural language processing, linear programming)
