About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team at The Chantry, a specialist neurological care centre in Ipswich. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for managing a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of clinical staff, ensuring effective performance management and adherence to Brainkind policies and procedures.
  • Provide support, leadership, and supervision to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring the needs of service users are met and their independence is maximized.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, adhering to legislation and policies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a clinical leadership role, with a strong track record of team management and development.
  • Knowledge of current legislation and best practice in the independent care sector.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues, including difficult conversations.
  • NMC Registered Nurse with post-registration experience in the clinical field.
  • Completion of NMC recognized accredited mentor training or willingness to undertake.
