Senior Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team at The Chantry, a specialist neurological care centre in Ipswich. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for managing a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of clinical staff, ensuring effective performance management and adherence to Brainkind policies and procedures.
- Provide support, leadership, and supervision to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement care plans, ensuring the needs of service users are met and their independence is maximized.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate and timely records, adhering to legislation and policies.
- Proven experience in a clinical leadership role, with a strong track record of team management and development.
- Knowledge of current legislation and best practice in the independent care sector.
- Ability to communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues, including difficult conversations.
- NMC Registered Nurse with post-registration experience in the clinical field.
- Completion of NMC recognized accredited mentor training or willingness to undertake.
