Senior Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our Reactive Emergency Assessment Team (REACT) at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care in the community, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide excellent outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses in the delivery of community care services, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
- Develop and implement care plans in partnership with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide expert care to patients with complex needs, including those requiring Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotics Therapy (OPAT).
- Collaborate with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff, promoting their professional development and growth.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines to improve patient care and service delivery.
- Registered Nurse First Level qualification and post-registration qualification relevant to the area up to postgraduate diploma level.
- Experience leading teams and managing change, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
- Strong clinical expertise, with a focus on community care, OPAT, and emergency assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to drive confidently in all weathers and on all roads, due to the large geographical area covered by the service.
