We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our nursing team at the Princess Royal University Hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to patients in our 56-bed Acute Medical Unit.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, document, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for patients in a responsible and efficient manner.
- Develop a greater awareness and understanding of the needs of patients with cancer and the different treatment modalities administered within the unit.
- Develop an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of managing a shift with the guidance of the Ward Sister.
- Registered Nurse (RN1) with active NMC registration at time of starting appointment.
- Able to do all aspects of the clinical nursing role to include manual handling of patients.
- Communication skills - able to relate and communicate with patients and staff at all levels and from different professions.
- Team building and working skills - able to lead a team to achieve results.
