Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Advisor to join our team at Nam Trust. As a key member of our People & Culture Team, you will play a vital role in shaping our company culture and delivering key people activities for all employees across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • People Operations: Effectively manage our computerised systems to organise and maintain all people activities, including recruitment, new starter's information, and employee personal details.
  • HR Advice: Provide managers and colleagues with advice on people policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment law and legislation.
  • Recruitment Leadership: Lead all recruitment campaigns with administrative support from the People Assistant, ensuring a consistent and effective approach to attracting top talent.
  • Induction and Onboarding: Act as the operational interface for colleague inductions, ensuring line managers have the resources and support to facilitate a consistent and effective welcome and training process for new team members.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Support the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a more inclusive and equitable workplace.
  • Employee Engagement and Wellbeing: Support the development and implementation of engagement and wellbeing initiatives to improve colleague satisfaction and foster a supportive working environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in the human resources field, with a strong understanding of employment law, legislation, and General Data Protection Regulations.
  • Knowledge/Qualifications: Strong knowledge of recruitment and selection practices, with a CIPD Qualification - Level 3 (or working towards).
  • Skills/Abilities: Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience: Previous experience in a management capacity within human resources, with experience in project management and interviewing.
  • Knowledge/Qualifications: CIPD Qualification - Level 5.
  • Skills/Abilities: Budget management capabilities, counselling and negotiating skills, and a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
