Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Social Work Assistant at Cardiff Council. As a key member of the Supported Living, Learning Disabilities Team at Market Road Resource Centre, Canton, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and lead fulfilling lives.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting monitoring visits to Supported Living Schemes, assisting with the Monitoring of the Supported Living Contact, participating in planning and facilitating individual moves, and managing data through spreadsheets. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with service users and their families, promoting independence and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the team's work in Supported Living, Learning Disabilities
  • Conducting monitoring visits to Supported Living Schemes
  • Assisting with the Monitoring of the Supported Living Contact
  • Participating in planning and facilitating individual moves
  • Managing data through spreadsheets

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach, and experience working with individuals with learning disabilities. A driver's license with full car access is also required. Proficiency in IT, particularly in using Sharepoint and Excel Spreadsheets, is strongly desired. Being a Welsh speaker is preferred.
