At Hoop Social Work, we are seeking a Part-Time Social Work Specialist to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a Residential Parenting Assessment Unit, providing support and guidance to families in need.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in Children's Services, including parenting assessments. They will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and working with families to achieve positive outcomes.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,000 - £46,500 per annum (pro rata'd for part time), plus an excellent benefits package, including a £1,500 retention award after the first year. Our team is led by qualified social workers who provide guidance and support to help you grow in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct parenting assessments and develop care plans
  • Work with families to achieve positive outcomes
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker status and registration with Social Care Wales (or willingness to register)
  • Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in Children's Services
  • CUBAS training is desirable but not essential
