About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team at a prestigious 4-star hotel and wedding venue in Lincolnshire. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operation and ensuring the delivery of exceptional food service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the kitchen operation from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution of events and daily orders.
  • Work closely with local suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and place food orders.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure all health and safety compliance paperwork is up to date and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Train and develop junior chefs, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with the hotel owner to create menus for upcoming events and seasonal changes.
Requirements and Skills
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role, with a track record of delivering exceptional food service.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of presentation and quality.
  • Ability to work under pressure, think creatively, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Level 2 food hygiene certificate (or equivalent) and food allergen certificates within the last year.
  • Passion for food and commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, working up to 45 hours per week, including weekends and evenings. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights. Due to the location, you will need to have access to your own vehicle and be able to commute to the hotel.
