CNC Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of English and maths, as well as excellent computer literacy skills. They will be responsible for inspecting materials and products for quality and accuracy, recommending improvements to ensure smooth process flow, and maintaining and calibrating tooling and gauges. Additionally, they will document and maintain quality criteria and procedures, lead good practice initiatives, and support production part approval processes and 8D reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test materials and products for quality and accuracy.
- Recommend and implement improvements to ensure smooth process flow and high quality.
- Maintain and calibrate tooling and gauges to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with the quality management system (QMS) at all times.
- Document and maintain quality criteria and procedures.
- Lead and instigate good practice, including staff training and development.
- Support production part approval processes and 8D reporting.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of English and maths.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Good computer literacy (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Suitably qualified person with experience in CMM QA roles or engineering qualifications.
- Willingness to attend courses in support of the position.
