AEGIS Rail / IKOS GROUP is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Safety Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

This position involves delivering safety plans, including Common Safety Method for Risk Evaluation and Assessment (CSM-RA), that meet regulatory requirements. You will create and maintain Hazard Records, conduct risk assessments, and enhance safety processes by applying knowledge of EN50126 standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of proven experience in the rail domain, with strong skills in designing and delivering safety plans. They must be able to work independently and take initiative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive Hazard Records, facilitating hazard identification workshops and conducting thorough risk assessments.
  • Apply expert knowledge of EN50126 standards to enhance and optimize safety processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the rail industry.
  • Strong skills in designing and delivering safety plans, including the creation of Hazard Records and risk assessments.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
