We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Safety Engineer to lead our team's safety initiatives. This role requires a self-motivated professional with a strong background in rail domain safety.

About the Role:

As a Senior/Principal Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering Common Safety Method for Risk Evaluation and Assessment (CSM-RA) to meet regulatory requirements. Your key duties include creating and maintaining Hazard Records, conducting thorough risk assessments, and applying knowledge of EN50126 standards to enhance safety processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety plans, including creation of Hazard Record and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.


Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in rail industry safety.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering safety plans, including Hazard Record creation and risk assessments.
  • Strong ability to work independently and take initiative.


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of rail industry safety standards and regulations. You should possess excellent communication and project management skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders. In return, you will receive a competitive salary, ranging from $120,000 - $180,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
