We are seeking an experienced and multi-talented Lead Environment Artist to join our team. This role requires the ability to conceive, create, and lead the team in developing innovative visual experiences for AAA titles. Proven experience in generating a diverse range of styles, technical expertise with current-gen technology, and/or illustration skills are highly beneficial.

This is a full-time, onsite position.

Requirements

  • At least 4+ years of experience in console development with at least 2 shipped titles and one as a Lead Artist.
  • Effective visual and verbal communication skills when directing internal or external teams or individuals.
  • Excellent resource management and judgment while assigning artists of varying skill sets to numerous projects in the studio.
  • Comfortable liaising with and presenting to clients in an authoritative and professional manner.
  • A self-motivated team leader who is outgoing, friendly, gregarious, with attention to detail, and a passion for delivering the best possible game experience.
  • Autonomous in managing deadlines and budgets, with excellent time management skills.
  • Experience in managing art teams effectively and in a timely fashion.
  • 2-3 years of experience developing and implementing solid art production pathways.
  • The ability to find creative solutions when troubleshooting and assessing risks.
  • A good understanding of cutting-edge artistic techniques and tools and the ability to implement them into current practical practices.
