Job Description

A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced professional to join the Human Resources team of Smyth & Co, a leading hospitality company in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to provide strategic guidance and support to department heads across the Human Resources remit, including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, payroll, and benefits.
  2. Lead and develop a team of HR professionals, ensuring a high level of service delivery to colleagues and promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.
  3. Work closely with the Learning & Development Manager to design and implement various career development and learning initiatives.
  4. Handle employee relation cases and provide guidance on company policy and best practices.
  5. Contribute to the strategic direction of the HR function, aligning with the company's vision, values, and goals.
  6. Represent the company externally, maintaining a valuable business network and staying up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

Requirements

  1. Demonstrate a strong commitment to the company's values and mission.
  2. Have a well-rounded background in Human Resources and be able to demonstrate proven experience in applying UK employment law.
  3. At least 4 years of experience in a senior HR role in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the hospitality industry.

Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment is desired, with strong working skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel. Salary around £65k per annum + service + bonus.
