Job Title: Family Support Worker
Job DescriptionAs a Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the well-being and development of children and young people in Midlothian.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting social workers in assessing parenting capacity
- Providing supervision for family time and direct work with children and their families
- Engaging with children and young people in crisis or at risk
Applicants must possess relevant qualifications and experience in working with children and families, including child development and trauma-based interventions.
Working ArrangementsThis permanent role is based at the Dalkeith Social Work Centre, with a standard full-time contract of 36 hours per week.
The estimated annual salary for this position is around £34,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
