About the Role

The Site Development Manager will play a key role in shaping the future growth direction and ambitions of Uniper's existing assets. This involves developing and implementing site strategies, coordinating site development activities, and providing necessary infrastructure to achieve the site vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of a "site vision" that combines existing assets with new opportunities.
  • Shape the agenda for a specific location and coordinate all site relevant initial development activities.
  • Drive enabling infrastructure projects that enhance the site and allow Uniper's growth projects to thrive.
  • Prepare high-quality decision proposals and present them to relevant management functions.
  • Lead or actively participate in Project Committees and take ownership of governance of site development.
  • Build the reputation of the New Green Power and Gas and represent Site Transformation at the highest levels.
  • Liaise tightly with the Site Integration Managers from Energy Assets and Growth Project Managers from the New Green Power & Gas areas.
  • Responsible for demolition activities on site, including project execution phase.
  • Manage stakeholder relations in alignment with Uniper's communication department.
  • Ensure project quality via project prioritization, resource allocation, quality reviews, analysis, and adequate monitoring & reporting systems.
  • Foster cross-country knowledge sharing and drive standardization of site development activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree-level qualification in engineering, natural sciences, or economics, and experience in origination and project management of generation projects or infrastructure/heavy industry projects. You will also need a successful track record of solution-oriented and value-added business development, as well as experience in leading international teams and complex multi-company business development activities.
