About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Management Professional to join our team at Vistry South West Midlands in Kenilworth. As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day control of the site, managing project works, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Based on industry standards and location, the estimated salary for this position is around £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the management team in controlling site operations and project works
  • Manage sub-contractors, including monitoring attendance and progress, providing direct instruction and support as necessary
  • Maintain site cleanliness and presentation at all times
  • Ensure safety and welfare of the general public, staff, and supply chain within your control
  • Lead by example in quality, time, procurement, and contractors management
  • Follow Vistry site procedures and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly site paperwork
  • Liaise with Contract Manager to ensure they are aware of project progress and financial risks
  • Understand commercial implications and drivers within the construction process
  • Appreciate sustainable practices relevant to the role
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Scaffold inspection qualification
  • Able to work independently, self-sufficiently, and deliver projects with some support from visiting Contracts Manager
  • Solid builder skills, identifying problems, communicating solutions, and driving projects to completion
  • Hands-on approach, interacting with trades and their supervision
  • Ability to work on any project secured by the business within a reasonable locality
