The Site Development Manager role at Uniper is to develop and implement future site strategies that shape the company's growth direction and ambitions. They will be responsible for coordinating all site development activities and providing necessary infrastructure to achieve the site vision.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, natural sciences, or economics and experience in origination and project management of generation projects or infrastructure/heavy industry projects. They should have a successful track record of solution-oriented and value-added business development, negotiation skills, and experience in leading international teams and complex multi-company business development activities.

The Site Development Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a "site vision" that defines the transformation of Uniper's sites by combining existing assets with new opportunities. They will shape the agenda for a specific location and coordinate all site-relevant initial development activities, considering innovative business/operating models and creating entrepreneurial spirit.

The Site Development Manager will drive enabling infrastructure projects, prepare high-quality decision proposals, and present them to relevant management functions. They will lead or actively participate in Project Committees and take ownership of governance of site development setting. The ideal candidate will also build the reputation of the New Green Power and Gas and represent Site Transformation at the highest levels.

The Site Development Manager will liaise tightly with the Site Integration Managers from Energy Assets and Growth Project Managers from the New Green Power & Gas areas. They will be responsible for demolition activities on site, including project execution phase, and manage stakeholder relations in alignment with Uniper's communication department.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical understanding for project management, delivering on time and within budget, and preferably project manager certification (PMI, PRINCE2). They should have a high degree of entrepreneurial thinking and understanding of the environment in which assets operate to promote an idea into a project over to financial investment decision.
